The 2007 Awards Evening on Friday 13th July 2007 was a fantastic success.
With attendance in excess of 120 people including Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Leaders, parents, friends and family.
All the Young People within our Group were recognised for their achievements. This included Centenary Awards such as Joining In, Centenary Camp and Bring A Friend. In addition there were the Activity and Challenge badges. Each section finalised their awards with the Best Beaver, Cub or Scout of the Year.
Some of the Beavers and Cubs along with Laurance and Colin got everyone singing along to the home-made Centenary Song (Neil Diamond's Sweet Caroline with the words slightly adjusted).
We were extremely pleased to have the District Commissioner in attendance and those who were invested by him should feel very privilleged.
