EMMANUEL SCOUT HUT, 6th May 1947
Charles Gadie started the building fund in 1942. After the war Seacombe Ferry decided to build a new waiting room and the old wooden waiting room was dismantled in sections and rebuilt in the paddock behind Emmanuel Church Hall - and painted bright green as far as anyone can remember.

40th ANNIVERSARY
A party took place on 6th October 1948 to celebrate the Group's 40th birthday including the traditional cutting of the birthday cake. The first registered Scout Master, Rudolph Samuels, cut the cake with the current leader at the time, Dennis Mann.
There were 36 Scouts and 26 Cubs in 1948.

60th and 75th ANNIVERSARIES
Parties took place in October 1968 and 1983 to celebrate the Group's 60th and 75th birthdays. At the 75th anniversary the daughter of the first Scout Master, Joan Samuels, cut the cake together with the very first 'Rover' Scout Master, Herbert Casey, and a Scout Master who attended the 60th Anniversary celebration, Tony Billington.

EMMANUEL CHURCH HALL
The Scout hut was demolished in 1999 as part of the rebuilding of Emmanuel Church and the Group now meet in the new Church Hall.

CENTENARY ANNIVERSARY
A part will take place next year, 2008, to celebrate 100 years since the Group was first registered, with their current leaders. Group Scout Leader: Colin Jones. Assistant Group Scout Leader: George Merrill. Beavers: Sue Worgan, Heather Routledge and Kerry Maddocks. Cubs: Laurance Hancock, Tanya Bradshaw, Steve Bradshaw, Charlie Brennan and Colin Jones. Scouts: Margaret Rouse, Elaine Seymour and George Merrill.
