ROVER CREW AND CUB PACK FORMED, 11th May 1920
A Rover crew for older Scouts was formed under the leadership of Herbert Casey.

Up until then Scouts were from 11 upwards and Patrol Leaders were often 21 years-old.

A hundred boys attended the first Cub meeting for boys under 11, but the Pack was soon actively working with 60 boys, under the leadership of W. Stanley Atkin.

The Cubs visited Alexandra Palace in 1922 for the Prince of Wales Rally.

The 3rd attended the World Jamboree in 1929 at Arrowe Park.

SANDROCK ROAD, 1930
The HQ moved again and was officially opened by the mayor of Wallasey, Alderman F. S. Atkin.

EMMANUEL CHURCH HOUSE, 1936
In 1936 the 25th amalgamated with the 3rd, keeping the name of the 3rd but taking the 25th's neckerchief.

One very strict rule of the Troop was that every boy must earn his weekly subscription of one penny per week - the boy's parents signed an agreement to provide them with work each week. Another was that every officer had to have been a Scout.

30th ANNIVERSARY, 1938
On Thursday 6th October, 1938, the exact date of the anniversary, a Hot Pot Supper was held by the Old Scouts Association at the Sandrock Hotel, Molyneux Drive, under the chairmanship of Albert Spratt.

WAR YEARS, 1939-1945
When war broken out there were some 52 Scouts, but numbers dwindled as the older boys joined the forces while the younger ones were evacuated. The remainder, about 15 boys, were led by Charles Gadie and soon grew again to between 60 and 70.
Is it one of the few Scout Groups that continued throughout the two World Wars.
